Dar Rejects India’s Baseless Propaganda Against Pakistan

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, engaged in a telephonic conversation with Hungary’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Peter Szijjarto. During this conversation, the Deputy Prime Minister briefed his Hungarian counterpart on the prevailing regional situation.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ishaq Dar firmly dismissed India’s baseless propaganda and unilateral illegal actions against Pakistan, particularly highlighting the suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty, which he described as a violation of international law. He reiterated Pakistan’s dedication to fostering peace and stability while emphasizing the nation’s determination to protect its national interests.

Hungarian Foreign Minister Szijjarto, in response, emphasized the need for dialogue and the peaceful resolution of conflicts to de-escalate the situation. Ishaq Dar also expressed appreciation for the strong momentum in bilateral relations following Foreign Minister Szijjarto’s recent visit to Islamabad.
