Dar Seeks Concrete Solutions for Issues of Energy Sector

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has directed the relevant ministries to propose concrete, actionable measures to address challenges facing the energy sector of the country, while ensuring long-term sectoral stability. He was chairing a meeting to review challenges facing Pakistan’s energy sector in Islamabad on Thursday.

According to Radio Pakistan, discussions focused on key issues affecting the financial sustainability and long-term stability of the sector, including energy consumption patterns, pricing mechanisms, subsidy management, and the reduction of transmission and distribution losses.
