Dar Stresses Community Role in Identifying Development Schemes

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar chaired a meeting of the Steering Committee of the Sustainable Development Goals Achievement Programme in Islamabad today. The Committee reviewed the programme and expressed satisfaction with its progress. It further directed that any savings from previous years may be utilized within the same sector and province.

According to Radio Pakistan, during the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Dar emphasized the critical role of local communities in identifying infrastructure development schemes. He highlighted that engaging local communities is essential to ensure that the funds allocated under the Sustainable Development Goals Achievement Programme are used effectively and in ways that best serve the interests of the people.
