Dar Welcomes Removal of Pakistan from War Risk Insurance List

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has welcomed the decision of the Lloyd’s Market Association’s Joint War Committee to remove Pakistan from its listed areas for war risk insurance. In a post on his X handle, he said that this important milestone reflects growing international confidence in Pakistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ishaq Dar stated that the decision is expected to lower shipping and insurance costs, facilitate trade, and support Pakistan’s economic growth. He also appreciated Lloyd’s for its constructive engagement throughout the process.
