Darul Khair Mirwaiz Manzil Extends Aid to Gurez Fire Victims

Srinagar: A delegation from Darul Khair Mirwaiz Manzil visited the Gurez area of Bandipora in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, where a recent fire caused significant damage to the main market of Dawar.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the delegation, led by Mufti Ghulam Rasool Samoon, distributed essential food items, blankets, and utensils to the affected victims. They also provided relief cheques to 14 families impacted by the fire. During the visit, they conveyed a message of sympathy from Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and urged other charitable and welfare organizations in Jammu and Kashmir to assist in rehabilitating the affected families as winter approaches.

Following instructions from Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, another delegation from Darul Khair Mirwaiz Manzil is scheduled to visit Kishtwar this week. The delegation will offer direct financial assistance and express solidarity with the victims of a fire in Warwan, Kishtwar, which destroyed the local Jamia Masjid and approximately 100 residential houses and shops. The delegation aims to provide relief to families facing severe cold weather conditions.
