Darul Uloom Deoband Chancellor Engages with Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Muslim Issues

Srinagar: In a significant meeting today, Maulana Muhammad Sufyan Qasmi, Chancellor of Darul Uloom Deoband (Waqf) and a member of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board, along with a delegation of prominent scholars, visited Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, a senior leader of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), at his residence in Nigeen.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the discussions between the two leaders focused on the various challenges currently facing the Muslim community worldwide, with a particular emphasis on the issues encountered by Muslims in India. Both leaders underscored the importance of fostering unity and collaboration among Muslim communities and advocated for proactive efforts to address these pressing concerns effectively.
