Death Anniversary of Aitzaz Hasan Observed

Islamabad: The twelfth death anniversary of Aitzaz Hasan Shaheed, who laid down his life to stop the attempt of a suicide bomber to enter his school in Hangu, was observed on Tuesday: Aitzaz Hasan became a national hero after he saved hundreds of lives on this day in 2014 by thwarting a terrorist attack.

According to Radio Pakistan, Aitzaz Hasan had grabbed the suicide bomber at the main gate to prevent him from entering the school. His courageous act prevented a potential tragedy, showcasing his commitment to the safety of his fellow students.

In recognition of his bravery, Aitzaz Hasan was posthumously awarded the Sitara-e-Shujaat. His sacrifice continues to be remembered and honored across the nation, serving as a poignant reminder of the impact one individual can have in the face of danger.
