Death Anniversary of AJK’s Founding President Sardar Ibrahim Observed

Muzaffarabad: The twenty-second death anniversary of Ghazi Millat and the founding President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Sardar Muhammad Ibrahim Khan, was observed across the state on Thursday. In AJK, it was a public holiday today.

According to Radio Pakistan, Quran Khawani and Fateh Khawni will be held for the soul of the late Kashmiri leader at his Mazar in Rawalakot. Functions and seminars have been arranged in all district headquarters to pay tribute to the leader for his services to the Kashmir freedom struggle and the development of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

In the state capital, Muzaffarabad, the Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Cell will arrange a function at Khurshed National Library. Sardar Muhammad Ibrahim Khan died on this day in July 2003.
