Islamabad: The ninth death anniversary of actor, writer, and poet Iftikhar Qaiser was observed today (Thursday). Iftikhar Qaiser was known for his extensive work in Urdu, Pashto, and Hindko dramas of Pakistan Television, spanning over four decades. His contributions to the arts earned him the Presidential Pride of Performance Award, recognizing his significant impact on the cultural landscape.

According to Radio Pakistan, Iftikhar Qaiser passed away on this day in 2017 in Peshawar after a prolonged illness. His legacy continues to be celebrated by fans and colleagues alike, who remember him for his dedication to the performing arts and his ability to bring characters to life through his performances.
