Death Anniversary of Shafi Muhammad Shah Observed

Karachi: The 18th death anniversary of legendary television and film actor Shafi Muhammad Shah was observed on Monday. Shafi Muhammad Shah, renowned for his extensive contributions to the entertainment industry, began his career as a radio presenter, engaging audiences with plays broadcast by Radio Pakistan in the 1960s.

According to Radio Pakistan, during his thirty-year career, Shah performed in over fifty drama serials and more than a hundred television plays in both Urdu and Sindhi languages. His notable dramas include ‘Chand Grehan’, ‘Dairey,’ ‘Aanch’, ‘Bund Gulab’, and ‘Mohabbat Khawab Ki Surat’. His significant impact on the industry was recognized with the Pride of Performance Award.

Shafi Muhammad Shah passed away on this day in 2007, leaving behind a legacy that continues to inspire actors and audiences alike.
