Karachi: 71st death anniversary of famous Pakistani musician and sarangi player Ustad Bundu Khan is being observed on Tuesday.
According to Radio Pakistan, he was born in Delhi in 1880. Ustad Bundu Khan migrated to Karachi after independence and became associated with Radio Pakistan.
He had mastered more than 500 Ragas. Bundu Khan also wrote a book on music which was published simultaneously in both Urdu and Hindi languages.
He died on this day in 1955 in Karachi.
