Defence Minister expresses resolve to protect national interests

Federal Minister for Defence, Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said that the country’s interests will be protected at any cost.

Talking to newsmen in Sialkot today, he said the government is committed to protecting the lives and property of the people.

He said Pakistan has made significant efforts to play an effective role and establish a strong position at the global level.

He said PTI had tried to stop CPEC in 2014 and is now attempting to sabotage the SCO summit in Pakistan.

The Minister also said that PTI’s armed groups are on the verge of targeting the country’s dignity and Afghan nationals are also part of these groups.

He also criticized Ali Ameen Gandapur for allegedly using the government resources of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
