Defence Minister Khawaja Asif Stresses Importance of Curbing Tax Evasion in Pakistan

Islamabad, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has underscored the critical need to address tax evasion to propel Pakistan towards self-reliance. During a recent event in the capital, Asif expressed concern over the societal perception of tax evasion and discussed the potential to significantly increase the country’s tax revenue.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Asif highlighted the unfortunate reality that tax evasion is not widely recognized as a criminal activity in Pakistan, which undermines the nation’s financial health.
