Defence Secretary, Ambassador Jemal Discuss Bilateral Cooperation

Islamabad: Special Envoy and Ambassador Extraordinary of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Dr. Jemal Beker Abdula, met with Defence Secretary Muhammad Ali to discuss bilateral and multilateral cooperation. The meeting focused on enhancing the existing bilateral relationship, with both sides expressing a commitment to further strengthening these ties.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ambassador Dr. Jemal briefed the Defence Secretary on the significant reforms undertaken by Ethiopia under the leadership of Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed. The Ambassador emphasized the renewed momentum in bilateral relations, underscoring the importance of the recently established Ethiopian Embassy in Islamabad and the commencement of Ethiopian Airlines’ operations in Pakistan.
