Defense Minister Reiterates Resolve to Intensify Counter-Terrorism Efforts

Islamabad: Federal Minister for Defense, Khawaja Muhammad Asif has expressed the Government’s unwavering resolve to bolster national security and intensify counter-terrorism efforts. Talking to a private news channel, he ruled out any chance of talks with the banned Balochistan Liberation Army due to its involvement in terrorist activities and killing innocent laborers.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister stated that Pakistan’s armed forces are capable of foiling the nefarious designs of enemies. He emphasized that the federal government will extend its full support to the provincial government in Balochistan.
