Lahore: President Asif Ali Zardari emphasized the unwavering commitment of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) to its foundational principles and the legacy of its historic leadership during a recent meeting at Bilawal House, Lahore. The meeting, attended by both local and provincial leaders of the PPP, underscored the party’s dedication to political dialogue and alliances.

According to Radio Pakistan, President Zardari highlighted the pivotal role of democratic engagement in achieving justice, national harmony, and sustainable development. He pointed out the significant economic pressures and political challenges currently facing Pakistan, stressing that these hurdles require patience, perseverance, and continuous efforts from both party workers and leadership.

Furthermore, President Zardari assured that the PPP stands united with the armed forces in countering the threats posed by externally sponsored terrorism, reiterating the party’s commitment to national security and stability.
