Deputy PM Reviews Proposals to Bring Reforms in Power Sector

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar chaired the meeting on power tariff reforms in Islamabad today. The meeting deliberated upon various proposals for reforming the power sector.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting was attended by Minister for Power Sardar Awais Ahmed Khan Leghari, Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Khan Cheema, Minister of State for Finance Ali Pervaiz Malik, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Power Muhammad Ali and other senior officials. The discussions focused on identifying and implementing strategies to improve the efficiency and sustainability of the power sector.
