Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has announced that the government’s development focus extends beyond a single city, encompassing all 41 districts of the province.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Chief Minister made this statement while addressing Members of the Punjab Assembly and PML-N ticket holders from Multan in Lahore. She emphasized that the launch of development projects in Punjab is being carried out for the first time based on population ratios, ensuring equitable distribution of resources across the province.
During the meeting, Maryam Nawaz agreed to a proposal for the construction of a bridge over the Chenab River between Shujaabad and Khan Garh, highlighting the government’s commitment to infrastructure development. She also encouraged elected representatives to actively participate in overseeing development projects within their constituencies until completed, reinforcing the government’s dedication to comprehensive regional development.
