Development Process Continuing with Coalition Support: PM

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized that resolving Karachi’s issues remains the government’s top priority. His remarks came during a meeting with a delegation from the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P), led by the Minister for Education and Professional Training, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Prime Minister highlighted Karachi’s crucial role in Pakistan’s economy and acknowledged MQM-Pakistan’s vital support as a coalition partner in propelling national development. The discussions underscored ongoing efforts to enhance the economic stability and growth of the country, with particular focus on the prosperity of Karachi’s residents.

During the meeting, the MQM-P delegation presented various proposals aimed at the economic development and upliftment of key economic centers across the country. They praised the Prime Minister for his administration’s achievements in reducing inflation to a single-digit figure and for implementing policies that favor business expansion and export growth.
