DG ISPR Dismisses Reports of Field Marshal Becoming President

Islamabad: DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary has dismissed reports of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir becoming President.

According to Radio Pakistan, in an interview with The Economist, he stated that speculations about Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir assuming the presidency are completely baseless.

The DG ISPR also refuted political analyses made following the event Marka-e-Haq.

When questioned about Pakistan’s potential response to any Indian military action, the DG ISPR asserted that retaliatory measures would commence from the East of India. He emphasized that Pakistan would initiate deep strikes inside India, underscoring that India should recognize the potential for being targeted anywhere.
