DG South Asia Briefs Sri Lankan Delegation on Pakistan’s Foreign Policy

Islamabad: A delegation of officers from the Defence Services Command and Staff College, Sri Lanka, visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad today. Director General South Asia and SAARC, Ilyas Mehmood Nizami, provided an in-depth briefing to the visiting delegation on the organisational structure of the Ministry and significant aspects of Pakistan’s foreign policy.

According to Radio Pakistan, the briefing also included discussions on various dimensions of Pakistan-Sri Lanka relations. The exchange aimed to enhance mutual understanding and cooperation between the two countries, reflecting the longstanding ties that exist between Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The delegation’s visit is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen bilateral relations through dialogue and collaboration.
