Dhaka Exhibition Aims to Boost Trade Ties Between Pakistan and Bangladesh

Karachi: In a strategic move to enhance bilateral trade, the Pakistan Association of Exhibition Industry announced the 3rd Made in Pakistan Exhibition Conference will be held in Dhaka, Bangladesh from September 23 to 27, 2025. The event, set to take place at the International Convention City Bashundhara, aims to showcase a diverse range of Pakistani products and strengthen trade relations between the two countries.

Khurshid Barlas, the Founder Chairman of the Pakistan Association of Exhibition Industry, discussed the upcoming event with Sheryar Taj, Secretary of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), highlighting the inclusion of sectors such as textiles, food products, and electrical appliances. Other industries represented will include kitchenware, consumer products, footwear, and many more, offering a comprehensive view of Pakistan’s manufacturing capabilities.

Sheryar Taj expressed his appreciation for the initiatives undertaken by the Pakistan Association of Exhibition Industry and assured full cooperation for the Dhaka event. He emphasized the importance of such exhibitions in promoting economic growth and enhancing trade ties, describing the event as a significant opportunity to integrate the region and highlight Pakistani products on a global stage.

The exhibition is seen as a step towards strengthening the brotherly relations between Pakistan and Bangladesh, two countries sharing historical, religious, and cultural values. Both nations recognize the need for increased trade and investment opportunities, and such events are considered vital in achieving these goals.

In recognition of his efforts, Secretary Sheryar Taj presented a shield to Khurshid Barlas, symbolizing the support of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan for initiatives that foster trade and entrepreneurship. The exhibition is anticipated to attract significant interest, with Pakistan’s products already enjoying considerable popularity in Bangladesh.
