Diamer Bhasha Dam Construction Pushes Forward, National Assembly Informed

Islamabad: The National Assembly convened to discuss the rapid progress of the Diamer Bhasha Dam, currently underway at full speed. The session, chaired by Deputy Speaker Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah, emphasized the project’s significance in enhancing the country’s water storage capacity and mitigating flood risks.

According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar assured the assembly that every effort is being made to ensure the dam’s completion on schedule. Highlighted as one of the largest water reservoirs, the dam is expected to play a key role in managing water resources effectively.

The assembly session will reconvene tomorrow at 11 a.m. to continue deliberations on the country’s pressing issues.
