Digital Reforms Introduced in Tax System: Finance Minister

Lahore: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb says Pakistan is moving towards sustainable development. Addressing a ceremony, he highlighted that economic indicators have shown improvement due to reform-oriented measures.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Finance Minister stated that investor-friendly policies have strengthened the national economy. The promotion of local industries has played a crucial role in reviving the productive sector. Facilities provided to small and medium enterprises are creating new employment opportunities across the country.

The Minister noted that the restoration of confidence among investors and traders has significantly contributed to business growth. Emphasizing the creation of an enabling environment for startups and young entrepreneurs, he pointed out that this remains a top priority for the government.

Aurangzeb also mentioned that the expansion of the digital economy and e-commerce has enhanced business activities. Digital reforms introduced in the tax system aim to ensure transparency. The introduction of an automated system for tax collection is seen as a positive step, enhancing transparency and public confidence.
