Digitalization of Pakistan Post to Complete in Jan 2027

Islamabad: The Pakistan Post is set to be fully digitalized by January 2027 as part of a major reform initiative aimed at modernizing postal services nationwide and aligning them with international standards. The transformation project seeks to overhaul the traditional operations of the postal service, bringing it in line with contemporary digital practices.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Ministry of Communications has launched the Automation of Post Office Project, which is being financed by the Export-Import Bank of Korea. This project is a significant step towards transforming Pakistan Post’s largely manual operations into a fully digital, integrated system. The comprehensive digital overhaul will bolster the organization’s core functions, including mail management, financial services, parcel tracking, and internal administration, thereby enhancing efficiency and service delivery.

The initiative underscores a commitment to adopting cutting-edge technology to improve service quality and customer satisfaction. As the digital transformation progresses, it is expected to not only streamline operations but also expand the range of services offered by Pakistan Post to meet the evolving needs of its users.
