Director General Saeed Ahmed Shaikh Outlines Modernization Efforts for Radio Pakistan

Islamabad: Director General Radio Pakistan Saeed Ahmed Shaikh has announced that all available resources are being utilized to modernize Radio Pakistan and align it with contemporary broadcasting standards. Addressing the inaugural ceremony of the newly established Audio Archive Center and Podcast Studio at Broadcasting House in Quetta, he emphasized that Radio Pakistan is a strategic national institution that plays a pivotal role in the dissemination of information.

According to Radio Pakistan, Saeed Ahmed Shaikh revealed plans to install two state-of-the-art digital radio transmitters in Quetta and Khuzdar. This initiative is expected to significantly enhance the quality and reach of broadcasting in these regions, ensuring that Radio Pakistan continues to serve its audience effectively.

Additionally, the Director General highlighted the installation of six new FM transmitters across different areas of Balochistan. These transmitters are dedicated to the Saut-ul-Quran channel, aiming to strengthen religious and educational programming, which is a key aspect of the station’s mission to educate and inform the public.
