District Administration Islamabad Decides to Open Spillways of Rawal Dam Today

Islamabad: District Administration Islamabad has decided to open the spillways of Rawal Dam at two pm today in view of rise in water level in the dam due to heavy rainfall in Islamabad and surrounding areas. The people have been advised to avoid going near waterways.

According to Radio Pakistan, the decision was made to manage the increased water levels and ensure the safety of the dam’s infrastructure. Residents and visitors in the vicinity are urged to exercise caution and adhere to the advisory to prevent any untoward incidents. The administration is closely monitoring the situation and will provide updates as necessary.
