District Magistrate Announces Public Holiday Within ICT Limits for Wednesday

Islamabad: The District Magistrate of Islamabad has issued a notification declaring a public holiday within the limits of the Islamabad Capital Territory for Wednesday.

According to Radio Pakistan, the notification specifies that all private institutions, including schools, colleges, universities, and private business establishments and offices within Islamabad’s limits, will remain closed.

In contrast, offices providing essential services under the Islamabad administration will continue to operate. Furthermore, all federal ministries, divisions, and federal attached departments and offices will remain open, ensuring that critical government functions are not disrupted.
