Karachi, September 09, 2018 (PPI-OT): DMC Central has finalized its arrangements of cleanliness and lighting for a carefree observance of Aashoora-e-Muharram. Rehan Hashmi, the Chairman of DMC Central paid frequent visits to all of his zones and monitored the arrangements. He directed the Officers of Sanitation, Parks and M and E departments not to leave any stone unturned in their way of work. He asked them to keep the roads clean that lead to the Mosques, Imambargah, places of Majlis and religious gatherings.
The arrangement of light at night must be adequate so as to enable the Azaadaar move peacefully. Aashoora-e-Muharram is observed with great respects and sense of love for Hazrat Imam Hussain. In DMC Central many processions are brought out during Aashoora-e-Muharram in day as well as at night. DMC Central will not only provide them complete Municipal services but also establish Sabeels where clod water and syrup will be presented to the participants of the processions. Meanwhile, road carpeting has been done in the areas where roads were broken or in bad conditions so that the process may pass smoothly.
