Documentary Series “Heritage in Young Hands” Set to Launch in Islamabad.

Islamabad: The launch of the documentary series “Heritage in Young Hands,” developed collaboratively by UNESCO and PTV Home, will take place at the Media Resource Centre, PTV Headquarters, on Wednesday, 6 November 2024, at 11:00 a.m. This series aims to underscore the rich cultural heritage of Pakistan and the pivotal role of youth in safeguarding this invaluable heritage for sustainable development.

According to United Nations Pakistan, the series will consist of 10 episodes, each scheduled to air on PTV Home every Saturday at 6 p.m., starting from 9 November 2024. The initiative highlights the importance of educating and engaging young people in cultural preservation efforts, reflecting a broader commitment to sustainable development goals.

The launching ceremony invites media representatives and stakeholders to witness the unveiling of the project, which is a significant step in promoting cultural awareness and preservation through visual storytelling. This collaboration between UNESCO and PTV Home is expected to serve as a platform to inspire and educate young audiences about the importance of their cultural heritage.
