DPM and Egyptian FM Discuss Gaza Developments

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar engaged in a telephone conversation today with Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty to address recent developments in Gaza.

According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the discussion focused on the critical humanitarian situation affecting millions of Palestinian residents in Gaza. The conversation underscored the urgency of the situation and the need for international attention.

Deputy Prime Minister Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support for the Palestinian people and expressed full solidarity with Egypt. He emphasized Pakistan’s backing for an Extraordinary OIC meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers to discuss the ongoing crisis.

Both ministers agreed on the importance of maintaining close contact in the coming days to stay informed on the evolving circumstances.
