DPM and Japanese FM Commend US-Iran Understanding

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, received a telephone call from Japan’s Foreign Minister, Toshimitsu Motegi. During the call, both leaders welcomed the understanding reached between the United States and Iran, noting its significance for regional stability and the broader international community.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Japanese Foreign Minister expressed Japan’s appreciation and commendation for Pakistan’s sustained mediatory role and constructive efforts throughout the process, which helped facilitate and advance the outcome achieved.

Both sides reaffirmed the importance of continued diplomatic engagement and the need to maintain close contact and regular exchanges to further strengthen bilateral relations and coordination on issues of mutual interest.
