DPM and Turkish FM Discuss Concerns Over Israeli Actions in Palestine

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation with Turkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan to discuss recent regional and international developments, focusing on the situation in Palestine.

According to Radio Pakistan, both officials expressed deep concerns over the ongoing Israeli military actions in Gaza and the Occupied West Bank. They highlighted the repeated violations at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied East Jerusalem and discussed the deteriorating humanitarian conditions in the region.

The Deputy Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister reaffirmed their support for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people. They also deliberated on Jordan’s proposal to organize a meeting of Arab and Islamic countries to enhance diplomatic efforts in support of Palestine.
