DPM, Australian FM Agree to Boost Bilateral Trade

Kuala lumpur: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar met with Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong on the sidelines of the ASEAN Regional Forum. Both officials engaged in discussions that centered around enhancing mutual cooperation between their respective countries.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting resulted in an agreement to boost bilateral trade, which is seen as a significant step towards strengthening economic ties. Both sides also expressed interest in promoting academic partnerships, which could lead to increased collaboration between educational institutions in Australia and the Deputy Prime Minister’s country. Additionally, the two leaders agreed to increase high-level political exchanges, aiming to foster a more robust diplomatic relationship.
