DPM Calls for Deepening Pak-EU Economic Ties

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar chaired a high-level inter-ministerial meeting in Islamabad to discuss strengthening Pakistan’s economic and trade relations with the European Union. During the meeting, he highlighted the importance of enhancing trade cooperation, exploring new opportunities for economic engagement, and further deepening Pakistan-EU economic relations.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ishaq Dar emphasized that GSP Plus remains a crucial framework for mutually beneficial trade and underlined the need to maximize its potential for Pakistan’s economic growth. The meeting focused on identifying strategies to leverage the GSP Plus status effectively, ensuring that Pakistan can enhance its export capabilities and reinforce economic ties with European partners.
