DPM Calls for Expanding Educational Cooperation with Friendly Countries

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has directed the relevant authorities to further expand the scope of educational cooperation with friendly countries and explore new avenues for strengthening people-to-people ties through academic exchanges and scholarship opportunities. He was chairing an inter-ministerial meeting in Islamabad today to review Pakistan’s international education cooperation and scholarship programmes for students from friendly countries.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Federal Secretary for Education briefed the meeting on the scholarships being extended to students from various countries. Ishaq Dar appreciated the efforts of the Ministry and expressed satisfaction with the progress made in promoting educational linkages and cooperation.
