DPM Chairs Meeting of Committee on Rationalization of Pakistan Missions Abroad

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar chaired a meeting in Islamabad today of the Committee on Rationalization of Pakistan Missions Abroad. The Committee finalized its recommendations for submission to the Prime Minister following a comprehensive review of the functional and organizational arrangements at Pakistan Missions Abroad, aimed at optimizing their performance and effectiveness.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ishaq Dar directed that the recommendations place particular emphasis on enhancing inter-ministerial and inter-wing coordination at Missions, strengthening economic diplomacy, and improving the effectiveness of Pakistan’s diplomatic outreach in advancing the country’s foreign policy and economic objectives.
