DPM Chairs Meeting on Fuel Conservation, Austerity Measures

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar chaired a meeting of the Committee for Monitoring and Implementation of Fuel Conservation and Additional Austerity Measures at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad today. During the meeting, the Committee examined several cases submitted by various ministries and divisions seeking exemption from the applicability of austerity measures.

According to Radio Pakistan, after detailed deliberations, the Committee finalized its recommendations accordingly. The meeting focused on evaluating requests for exemptions and ensuring that the government’s conservation and austerity objectives were met. The Committee’s recommendations are expected to guide the implementation of these measures across different government sectors.
