DPM Chairs Meeting to Address Overseas Pakistanis’ Issues

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar chaired a meeting in Islamabad today to review the issues faced by Overseas Pakistanis.

According to Radio Pakistan, he was apprised of the government’s initiatives taken in consultation with prominent overseas diaspora representatives, to resolve the issues of overseas Pakistanis. Ishaq Dar emphasized that Pakistani diaspora is contributing substantially to Pakistan’s economy through remittances. He stressed the adoption of digital technologies to provide various services to Overseas Pakistanis, obviating the need for physical presence.
