DPM Chairs Meeting to Review Progress on Pak-UAE Cooperation

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar chaired the second inter-ministerial preparatory meeting for the 12th session of the Pakistan-UAE Joint Ministerial Commission in Islamabad today. The Pakistan-UAE Joint Ministerial Commission is scheduled to be held in Abu Dhabi next week.

According to Radio Pakistan, the meeting was attended by the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister and senior officials from various ministries, including Foreign Affairs, Economic Affairs, Interior, Culture, Railways, Commerce, IT, Privatization, Food, Energy, Climate Change, Aviation, Education, Science and Technology, Health, IPC, Power, Petroleum, as well as representatives from the Special Investment Facilitation Council and the State Bank of Pakistan.

The meeting reviewed progress on Pakistan-UAE bilateral cooperation across multiple sectors and discussed opportunities to enhance investment between the two countries. The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the importance of further deepening and broadening economic and trade relations with the United Arab Emirates.
