DPM Commits to Sustained Peace Initiatives in South Asia

Kuala lumpur: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to continuing its efforts toward peace in the region. Addressing the Pakistani community in Kuala Lumpur, he emphasized Pakistan’s belief in peace and the importance of building relationships based on equality, dignity, and mutual respect.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Deputy Prime Minister alluded to the recent tensions with India, highlighting that Pakistan provided a measured response to Indian aggression. He indicated that India aims to establish dominance in the region, but Pakistan managed to counteract this through its response. He further mentioned that the response from Pakistan has been a challenge for the Indian political leadership to accept.

The Deputy Prime Minister also expressed satisfaction with the country’s economic progress, noting that the inflation rate has decreased to a single digit.
