DPM, Egyptian FM Discuss Regional, International Developments

Cairo: Foreign Minister of Egypt Badr Abdelatty has termed the signing of the “Strategic Mutual Defense Agreement” between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia as an important milestone in strengthening partnership, trust, and cooperation. He expressed these views during a telephonic conversation with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar.

According to Radio Pakistan, during the conversation, the Egyptian Foreign Minister also warmly congratulated Pakistan and Saudi Arabia on the signing of the agreement. The two leaders exchanged views on regional and international developments, emphasizing the importance of peace, stability, and economic progress.

They reaffirmed their commitment to multilateral cooperation and looked forward to substantive interactions at the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly next week.
