DPM Expresses Satisfaction Over Sugar Production

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar chaired a high-level meeting in Islamabad today to review sugar production at the conclusion of the current crushing season. He expressed satisfaction that sugar production during this season has been encouraging, noting that it would ensure adequate supply in the market to meet domestic demand while helping maintain price stability.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Deputy Prime Minister highlighted the importance of maintaining a stable sugar supply to avoid any potential shortages or price hikes. The meeting aimed to assess the overall performance of the sugar industry and strategize for future production cycles.

The meeting included senior officials from the Ministry of Industries and Production, as well as representatives from the sugar industry. Discussions centered around the measures needed to enhance production efficiency and address any challenges faced by the industry.
