Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar has emphasized the significance of the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement in fostering regional peace during discussions with African leaders.
According to Radio Pakistan, Dar engaged in a telephonic conversation with the President of Congo, F©lix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo, and former President of Guinea-Bissau, General Umaro Sissoco Embal³. He underscored the importance of the agreement among Pakistan, Trkiye, and Saudi Arabia, highlighting its role in enhancing strategic cooperation and contributing to regional peace, stability, and security.
During the conversation, the Deputy Prime Minister and President of Congo also deliberated on Pakistan-Congo relations, recognizing the potential for further strengthening bilateral cooperation through high-level exchanges. Dar extended his best wishes to President Tshisekedi and the people of the Democratic Republic of Congo, reinforcing Pakistan’s commitment to fostering strong international relationships.
