DPM Mohammad Ishaq Dar Concludes UNGA Visit with Focus on Regional Issues

New York:Islamabad Deputy Prime Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar has returned to Islamabad following a visit to New York for the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the UN General Assembly.

According to Radio Pakistan, during his visit, Dar accompanied the Prime Minister in high-level engagements and had bilateral meetings with his counterparts. He also participated in meetings organized by the United Nations and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

In addition to chairing the 27th Informal Meeting of the ECO Council of Ministers, Dar addressed high-level sessions on artificial intelligence and pandemic preparedness. He emphasized Pakistan’s positions on Palestine and Jammu and Kashmir, stressing the importance of dialogue and diplomacy for regional peace and stability.
