DPM Reviews Preparations for 9th OIC Ministerial Conference

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar chaired a meeting in Islamabad today to review preparations for the 9th OIC Ministerial Conference on Women, which Pakistan is set to host next year. During the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the importance of coordinating with the OIC Secretariat and relevant ministries to ensure the success of the conference.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Deputy Prime Minister highlighted Pakistan’s active role in promoting gender equality and women’s empowerment. He stated that the upcoming conference is a reflection of the country’s dedication to advancing women’s issues not only within the OIC framework but also on a broader scale.
