DPM, Saudi FM Discuss Evolving Regional Situation

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar spoke on telephone with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud today, discussing the evolving regional situation and matters of mutual interest.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Saudi Foreign Minister appreciated Pakistan’s constructive role and reiterated support for its efforts to promote regional peace and stability, particularly in the context of ongoing engagement between Iran and the United States.

Both leaders exchanged views on the importance of safeguarding maritime security, including in the Strait of Hormuz. They also agreed to remain in close contact on regional and international developments.
