DPM Underscores Commitment to Dialogue for Peace

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has underscored Pakistan’s sustained commitment to promoting dialogue and diplomacy as essential means for achieving lasting peace and stability in the Middle East and West Asia. He was talking to Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong who called on him in Islamabad today.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Chinese Ambassador conveyed the deep appreciation of the Government of China for Pakistan’s constructive role in advancing peace and security in the Middle East and the Gulf region. Both sides expressed the hope that ongoing efforts would lead to durable peace and security in the region, in the interest of all parties.
