DPM Urges Implementation of PM’s Austerity Measures in True Spirit

Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has stressed the need to implement the Prime Minister’s austerity measures in true spirit. He was chairing a meeting of the Steering Committee in Islamabad today to oversee Fuel Subsidy and Austerity.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister for Petroleum briefed the participants on the current fuel supply situation and highlighted the progress made in securing fuel from regions unaffected by the war. The meeting was also apprised about progress on the Fuel subsidy program.
