ECNEC Approves Development Projects Worth Over Rs380 Billion

Islamabad: The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) has sanctioned 12 significant development projects, with a cumulative worth exceeding 380 billion rupees, aimed at fostering growth across various regions in the country. The meeting, held in Islamabad, was presided over by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.

According to Radio Pakistan, the newly approved projects span multiple sectors including agriculture, education, health, infrastructure, and climate resilience. These initiatives are set to benefit the provinces of Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, and the region of Gilgit Baltistan, indicating a comprehensive approach to nationwide development.

During the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar emphasized the government’s unwavering dedication to achieving inclusive and sustainable development for the nation. He highlighted the importance of these projects in promoting economic growth and enhancing the quality of life for citizens across different regions.
